Iceland
For those of you who don't know, I'm going to Iceland mid May. I'm really starting to get excited. There are a lot of things I have to do before I go. Here are some of those things.
1. Study for quiz and final exam in Chemistry.
2. Celebrate Jascha's birthday at Fogo de Chao (ie big meat place).
3. Take quiz and final exam for chemsitry.
4. Celebrate Jascha's birthday with his sister, brother-in-law and brother-in-laws family
5. Find a dress to wear to the weddings I have to go to this summer.
6. Clear up/ wrap up work stuff.
7. Rent a car for Iceland.
8. Decide how I am getting to the airport.
9. Meet with premed couselor to schedule my future.
This might not sound like a lot, but perhaps I am easily overwhelmed. I feel like Jesse Spano in the episode we all know and love where she takes the speed to stay awake. Sometimes I just want to yell, "There's no time. There's never any time! I'm so excited! I'm so excited! I'm so, so, ...scared." Though I'm not really scared because I'm not on drugs. I just need some more time.
Things I will be doing in Iceland:
1. Going to the Blue Lagoon
2. Exploring Reykjavik.
3. Visiting the many hot baths around the area.
4. Going to Grundarfjordur
5. Visiting the penis museum
6. Driving along the countryside
7. Going on a fishing boat
8. Eating rotten shark
9. Drinking Black Death
10. See some elves
11. See some Puffins
I'm pretty pumped. In a conversation about what to do while we are there, Jackie and I were discussing going on a fishing boat. Spending some time out at sea, smelling the salty air. However, my dear vegetarian friend lamented, " I just don't think I can watch the slaughter of fish." Hmmm.
Regardless of a fishing trip, Jackie and I are gonna have a grand ole' time and have some stories to tell when we get back. Maybe I can even get her to eat some meat.

You really do love those penis museums, don't you? Don't you have enough photos of yourself hugging a huge phallus?

Oh Please! Jackie took immense pleasure in watching me filet the salmon I made on your b-day. She was watching like a commuter watches the aftermath of a car crash. :)

Jenny - did you know that Iceland is the most sexually active country in the world? It is. AND almost no one gets married ... AND they eat whale testicles.
I learned this all on a very special Oprah.
You have a wondrous blog. The only thing is that you do not post enough.
